Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Overtime available on Saturdays)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Yard Operative to join our team in Enfield. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our yard operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking loads for the next day, maintaining a tidy and organized yard, and supporting our team in loading/unloading trailers and rigids. There are opportunities to grow within the company

Key Responsibilities:

Picking and preparing loads for the following day's projects. Loading and unloading trailers and rigid vehicles. Performing daily forklift checks to ensure safety and compliance. Ensuring the yard and work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe. Maintaining scaffolding equipment, including fittings and boards, to ensure everything is in good working condition. Assisting with handballing and lifting materials as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be a reliable and punctual individual with strong time management skills. Possess good communication skills and be comfortable working as part of a team. Be physically fit and able to lift and move materials by hand when necessary. Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, as this is an outdoor role. Have a strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute to a positive working environment.

MUST

Have a forklift license. please only apply if you are a experienced forklift driver we are looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running as this is a fast paced busy yard
