To assist in the smooth & efficient running of the site function within the Chichester manufacturing facility.
To support the team leaders of any materials/products to be picked from stores to be delivered to working areas.
Stores control, maintain and improve stores activity liaising with relevant personnel
To carry out site related tasks eg Health & Safety improvement work or activities
Key responsibilities & duties
1. Primary Duties
Drive & operate company forklift throughout site
Goods in products to be received and put away in appropriate locations as necessary
Pick stock or consumables as required by customer orders, deliver to relevant working areas.
To assist other departments within the Company with stock queries.
Load/ Unload goods in or out pallets or boxes for operations.
To ensure that the working area is kept tidy, with all appropriate housekeeping duties required and all practices are kept within the Health and Safety guidelines.
To carry out general site related tasks as necessary for the efficient operation of the site
Complete any Heath & Safety tasks or duties as required or requested by management staff
2. Secondary Duties
Carry out stock checks or enquires as required by Manager or Supervisor.
Carry out any reasonable site requests as deemed appropriate and qualified to do
To assist any tasks or comparable duties with trained operatives as required
Drive company van (if appropriate driving qualification) as needed
Clean and repackage goods into saleable condition prior to sale or stock storage.

Work experience & skills & qualifications
Forklift licence for counterbalance is essential
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to all other Company departments
Literacy and numeracy skills are required as well as good computer skills
Experience in building site and/or working with building supplies and components as well as any warehousing/manufacturing environments would be beneficial
Keen team player, but also able to work on own initiative
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Keen to learn our product range and company procedures
Willing to work flexibly
Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications is advantageous.
Full, clean UK driving license required.
Hours of work:
7:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
