SDU Telecoms is a leading provider of telecom infrastructure services across the UK. We specialise in the design, deployment, and maintenance of fibre networks and civil engineering works for major telecom clients. As our operations continue to expand, we are looking for a dependable and hands-on Yard Man to support our day-to-day field activities.

Role Overview:

The Yard Man plays a key role in supporting the operational efficiency of our field teams. This includes maintaining a clean and organised yard, preparing tools and materials, delivering supplies to job sites, and assisting with site clearance. The role is essential to ensuring that daily projects run smoothly and remain on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free yard at all times. Assist field teams with the loading and unloading of tools, equipment, and materials. Provide support to the warehouse and Store Coordinators as needed, including organising materials, and general upkeep. Assist the fleet team in cleaning and maintaining vehicles to ensure they remain clean and tidy. Follow health and safety procedures while performing regular yard maintenance.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a yard environment, preferably within the telecom sector. Willingness to work and perform physical/manual handling tasks. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Basic understanding of tools and materials used in telecom or construction is an advantage. Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Pay: 130.00-150.00 per day

Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability

UK Driving Licence (preferred)
