Job Summary

We're seeking a

Yardsman / Storeman

to join our Fabrication Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping our yard and stores running smoothly. You'll be responsible for managing stock, preparing materials, and ensuring the workspace is safe and organised. Hourly rate - DOE.

Duties

Receive, inspect, and store steel materials and components Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory control Prepare and load materials for fabrication and delivery Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely Keep the yard clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety standards Assist fabricators and delivery drivers as needed

equirements

Previous experience in a similar role (yard, warehouse, or stores) Forklift licence (preferred but not essential - training can be provided) Good organisational skills, attention to detail and commitment to quality A proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Physically fit and ability to work in various environmental conditions Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
