Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Yardsman/woman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the yard area, assisting with the movement and organisation of materials, and supporting the overall efficiency of our signage projects. Your proactive approach will help ensure a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Duties

Assist with loading, unloading, and moving signage materials around the yard using appropriate equipment Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard area to promote safety and efficiency Support the transportation of materials between storage areas, fabrication sites, and installation locations Conduct routine inspections of yard equipment and report any repairs needed Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues Help with inventory management by tracking materials and supplies in the yard Collaborate with team members to prepare signage components for installation or dispatch

Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks throughout the day Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively Prior experience in yard work, construction, or a similar environment is preferred but not essential Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to yard operations is advantageous Valid certification for counterbalance forklifts is mandatory. Minimum 2 years experience.

Pay: 24,500.00-25,000.00 per year
