We are looking for a passionate and skilled
Year 1 Teacher
on a fixed term basis who will inspire every pupil to achieve their full potential. You will plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons, create a positive learning environment, and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider trust.
You will:
have a degree (or equivalent) and QTS
have proven strategies to support learning for all pupils, including those with additional needs
be creative and flexible in your teaching approach
have strong behaviour management skills that build mutual respect
have a willingness to embrace technology and new ways of working
have a growth mindset and commitment to your own professional learning
have awareness of strategies available to improve the learning and achievement of all students
have the ability to use a range of teaching and learning strategies
have knowledge of current issues and developments in education
be a confident user of standard IT packages, particularly when used to enhance student learning
have behaviour management techniques.
