We are seeking a dedicated and passionate tutor to work with a year 10 student helping them with Maths & Science. This would be 2 hours per week with the potential of increasing those hours.
KS4 Maths Edexcel 1MA1 and KS4 Science AQA.
To increase confidence in abilities and catch up from missed curriculum from Year 9.
To improve knowledge so that young person is able to attend and re-engage with lessons.
Tuition to be in person at young person's school in Brentwood:

Availablity: Preferred for Monday 0900-1000 and Thursday 0900-1000.
Responsibilities
Support the young person to access learning activities tailored to their needs.
Provide individualised support and tutoring to ensure enjoyment and progress.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere that encourages learning and growth.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents/carers, and other professionals to ensure child's learning needs are met.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student achievements and behaviour.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Commitment to having the student's welling and welfare at the heart of all interactions.
Qualifications
/Skills/Attributes
Proven experience in working with young people.
Strong understanding of effective strategies to support self-led learning behaviour.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with parent/carer, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to safeguarding and ensuring the wellbeing of the young people we work with.
