xc2xa3140 - xc2xa3190 Per day
Job Duties:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons to Year 2 students, ensuring adherence to the curriculum
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student participation and growth
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote student success and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance, using technology as needed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 2
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Year 2 curriculum
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with students, colleagues, and parents
- Effective differentiation techniques to cater to the diverse learning needs of students
- Strong classroom management skills, creating a safe and positive learning environment
- Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning experiences
- Postgraduate certificate in Education or equivalent
- Experience working with diverse student populations
This role requires working full-time hours in a primary school in Chorley. The teacher will be responsible for classroom teaching, lesson planning, student assessment, and collaboration with colleagues and parents to support student success and well-being.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
