Long-term, Full-time | February Start | 140+ per day
We are working closely with a well-run primary school in St Leonards who are seeking an experienced
Year 2 Primary Teacher
to join their team on a long-term basis from February.The school has a strong KS1 team, clear routines, and shared planning across the year group. Behaviour expectations are consistent, and teachers are well supported by experienced teaching assistants and a visible senior leadership team.
This role would suit a teacher who enjoys structure, values teamwork, and understands the importance of supporting pupils as they consolidate early learning skills.
The successful Year 2 Teacher will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging KS1 lessons Supporting pupils' progress in reading, writing, and maths Establishing clear routines and expectations Assessing learning and adapting teaching accordingly Working closely with support staff and senior leaders
Essential requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) KS1 teaching experience Enhanced DBS Up-to-date safeguarding training
Pay:
From140 per day
