Wayman Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Year 3 teacher to join a remarkable primary school in Oxted, Surrey. This is a September start position, and the successful candidate for this Year 3 teacher position will join a committed team of educators who have established a nurturing and welcoming culture within the school.

Year 3 teacher responsibilities

• Developing and implementing engaging and stimulating lesson plans that meet the requirements of the National Curriculum.
• Creating a safe and supportive learning environment that allows students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Promoting positive behaviour in the classroom and fostering an inclusive atmosphere that respects and values diversity.
• Providing ongoing feedback and assessment to students, parents, and colleagues to ensure students reach their full potential.
• Collaborating with colleagues and senior leadership to contribute to the development and implementation of the school\'s policies and strategies.
• Participating in extracurricular activities and school events such as parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest teaching strategies, technologies, and educational trends to improve classroom practice.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Education or a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching Year 3 students in a similar setting.
• Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and its assessment process.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills with students, parents, colleagues, and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
• Ability to maintain high expectations in behaviour and academic performance.
