We are urgently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated

Year 5/6 Class Teacher

to join a welcoming primary school in the DE21 area. This is a

full-time maternity cover

role, starting as soon as possible, with an expected duration of

9 months to 1 year

.

The Role:

You will take full responsibility for a Year 5/6 class, delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and maintaining a positive learning environment. The school has a supportive leadership team and excellent resources to help you succeed in the role.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5 or Year 6 Strong classroom management and organisational skills A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupils' wellbeing The ability to plan, deliver, and assess effectively in line with the national curriculum
