Year 5 Class Teacher (Main Scale)

required for September 2025


We are looking for an outstanding teacher to join our successful 3 form KS2 teaching team where staff are committed to their work and are fully valued. You will plan alongside 2 other experienced Y5 teachers providing our children with high quality learning experiences.


You will be a teacher for whom teaching is a joy and who is relentless in securing academic, social and emotional progress for every child in your class and beyond. Your professional growth and effectiveness are important to us and we provide opportunities for you to be highly effective.

You will:

Plan and provide activities that enable children to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding in all areas of learning Inspire children to learn in new and exciting ways Use highly effective assessment for learning to improve and accelerate children's progress Passionate about enabling good progress for every child. A strong, reflective practitioner who is highly motivated about teaching and lifelong learning and has the ability and dedication to be an outstanding practitioner A team-player with excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
