About the role
Heart of Supply is looking for passionate and committed Primary Teachers with experience in Year 5/6, or those eager to gain it. Teaching in upper Key Stage 2 is incredibly rewarding, pupils are developing independence, preparing for SATs and getting ready for the exciting transition to secondary school.
As a Year 5/6 supply teacher, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your experience in this key stage while enjoying flexible working options that fit your lifestyle. We're working with welcoming and well-supported schools in Lincoln and the surrounding areas, seeking enthusiastic teachers who can guide pupils through this milestone year with confidence, creativity, and care.

What you will need:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) experienced or newly qualified
Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6, or a strong interest in gaining experience in upper KS2
Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and confidence supporting pupils in preparation for SATs
Strong classroom management with a supportive and encouraging approach
Ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
