Year 8 & Year 9 English Tutors!

Previous teaching or tutoring experience is great but not essential.

We provide excellent training and a supportive environment to help you thrive and develop as a Future Tutor!

What We're Looking For:

- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality
- Available to start as soon as possible
- Ability to teach English to Key Stage 3 students (Year 8 and Year 9) in line with the UK curriculum
- Confidence in covering reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, vocabulary, and literature appropriate to KS3
- Tutors who can travel to our centre in Ilford, London for face-to-face sessions
- A strong academic background (minimum Grade 8 in GCSE English and ideally a Grade A or above in A-level English)
- Flexible working hours are available

Key Responsibilities:

Teach

- Deliver engaging and structured English lessons to Year 8 and Year 9 students, focusing on building core skills and confidence in reading, writing, and literature.

Inspire

- Create a positive, motivating learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged to excel.

Demonstrate Progress

- Track student progress and provide regular updates to parents and guardians to ensure students are on track to achieve their academic goals.

Promote an Excellent Experience

- We care deeply about the experience of both our students and tutors. We value open communication, welcome constructive feedback, and strive to create a fun, friendly, and supportive working environment.
