To help design our future projects, we are looking for an Undergraduate Engineers to join our Derby team on a One Year Placement, giving you the opportunity to co-create on some of the most prestigious infrastructure programmes in the UK.


Your key responsibilities will be:

Undertake basic calculations of design work on infrastructure projects Production of engineering design and details in accordance with project requirements Preparation of calculations, written reports and checking of drawings Checking of design calculations and drawings done by other engineers Visits to site as required

On top of that, you'll have:

A minimum of 2 years of study on a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering Basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals Be able to work in a team environment effectively Have good written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively Possess good interpersonal, planning, documentation, organisation, and problem-solving skills Be a clear and inquisitive thinker Evidence of research and information gathering skills
