Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yoga practices and a desire to educate others on the benefits of yoga for physical and mental well-being. This role requires an individual who can create a welcoming environment for students of all levels, guiding them through various poses while ensuring safety and proper alignment.

Responsibilities

Conduct engaging and informative yoga classes tailored to the needs of participants, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Educate students on proper techniques, anatomy, and the benefits of each pose. Develop class plans that incorporate various styles of yoga, ensuring a balanced approach to physical fitness and mindfulness. Provide modifications and adjustments to accommodate individual abilities and limitations. Foster a supportive community atmosphere where students feel encouraged to explore their practice. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the studio space before and after classes. Stay updated on current trends in yoga and wellness, continuously enhancing personal knowledge and teaching methods. Work timings are generally: Mon to Fri (9:30am - 10:30am & 6: 30pm - 7:30pm), Sat & Sun (8am to 9am)

Experience

Minimum 2 years experience as a Yoga Instructor is essential, with a 200 hours of certified training in yoga instruction. Open to learning and teaching various styles of Yoga. Strong knowledge of anatomy as it relates to yoga practice is essential. Experience in sports coaching or related fields is advantageous, providing insights into physical fitness and motivation techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of individuals. A genuine passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their personal goals through yoga practice.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour
