As our Young Carers Coordinator, you'll lead a passionate team committed to improving the wellbeing, confidence, and future prospects of young carers across Perth & Kinross. The Role



As our Young Carers Coordinator, you'll lead a well?established, highly valued service that makes a life?changing difference to young carers across Perth & Kinross. You'll guide the strategic and day?to?day delivery of the Young Carers Project, ensuring young carers are recognised, supported, and empowered to thrive. This is a chance to shape a service that truly transforms lives.

Key Responsibilities



Provide strategic leadership to develop and strengthen the Young Carers Service. Advocate for young carers locally and nationally, ensuring their voices are heard. Manage budgets, identify funding opportunities, and complete reporting requirements. Build strong partnerships with external agencies and create opportunities for joint working. Offer compassionate, inspiring leadership to the Young Carers Team, including supervision, appraisals, and professional development. Support recruitment, induction, and absence management within the team. Contribute to occasional delivery activities, bringing energy, creativity, and a fun?loving approach.
