Working within Early Help and Prevention (Young People's Services) to deliver an effective, high quality, information advice and guidance service for targeted 13 - 19-year-olds (up to 25 with Special Educational Needs and Care Leavers) to enable them to make informed choices to make a successful transition into Education, Employment or Training.

We have the need for dynamic, proactive and flexible individuals who will really make a difference to young peoples' lives. The Young Peoples Service team are co-located within existing multi agency teams across the Borough. The multi-agency teams focus on prevention, early intervention and de-escalation of a range of complex problems that prevent individuals from being able to focus on progression into training and employment. The Young Peoples service team offer an intensive 1-2-1 support to individuals to access education, employment and training in a support model that also enables ongoing 'in work' support to increase chances of stability and sustainable employment. The main aspect of the work will be supporting young people who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment and Training), post-16. The team are also working with our refugee cohort.



The team recruited will engage with young people in school/college and outreach settings and offer Information, Advice and Guidance through a recognised assessment, which will inform action planning, outlining choices for the future in relation to participation in short medium- and long-term outcomes for education, training and employment.
