Epping Forest District Council is seeking to employ a highly motivated and experienced individual with excellent inter-personal and organisational skills and a history of working with young people aged between 11 and 19 and partnership organisations including secondary schools.
The successful candidate will be part of a multi-skilled and innovative Community Development and Wellbeing team, reporting to the Team Manager for this service area, providing operational support to the Young Persons Officer, Epping Forest Youth Council and associated schemes.
Excellent ICT knowledge and administrative skills are essential to this post, with the ability to assist with marketing, social media, evaluation and monitoring feedback from Young People to support external funding applications.
Please note that this post is subject to a DBS Enhanced check.
This post requires working on a Tuesday evening and a flexible approach to working patterns.
In addition to the 18 hours for this post, there is an exciting opportunity for the selected candidate to work a minimum of 5 additional hours per week on an externally funded youth networking project, until the end of March 2026.
The Youth Resource Network (Epping Forest) is part of a wider youth network across Essex, with the aim to increase and encourage knowledge of, and participation in local youth provision.
