to support children and young people (ages 6-18) with complex needs, including:
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH)
Those at risk of or already involved in the youth justice system
You'll deliver 1:1 outreach mentoring and support in the
community, homes, schools
, and
youth/sports settings
, engaging young people in activities that build confidence, independence and wellbeing. Referrals come from Schools, Local Authorities, Youth Justice, and Social Services.

You'll Need To:
Build trust and positive relationships with young people
Engage them in education, life skills, or recreational activities
Communicate professionally with families and other services
Maintain clear records and manage safeguarding responsibilities
You'll Bring:
Experience working with young people (schools, care, youth justice, etc.)
An understanding of trauma-informed practice
Experience of working with young people with SEND is advantageous
Empathy, patience, and a calm approach
Strong communication and organisation skills
A strong understanding of Safeguarding young people
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply - we can help)
Driving licence, business car insurance & access to a vehicle
Right to work in the UK
First Aid & Safeguarding certificates (or willingness to complete)
Public Liability Insurance (we can recommend providers)
