Location: Arthog, Gwynedd, LL39
Salary: 26,566.80 - 27,783.60 per year (13.10 - 13.70 per hour)
Sleep-In Bonus: 9 sleep-ins per month (62.64 per sleep-in)
Shift Pattern: 4 consecutive working days (including overnights), followed by 8 days off
Accommodation & Meals Provided during working days
Driving Requirement: Must be 21+, hold a full UK driving licence, and have access to a vehicle (due to rural location)

Join Keys Group as a Residential Activity Worker, where your passion for nature, structure, and support becomes a powerful force in helping children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders (EBD) find hope, healing, and growth.
You'll be part of a dedicated residential care team delivering a structured, therapeutic programme filled with outdoor adventures such as kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, and bushcraft -- all designed to build confidence, develop life skills, and encourage positive change.
About the Role:
As a Residential Activity Worker, you'll live on-site during your 4-day shift pattern, providing consistent, caring support in a safe and stable home. Alongside your colleagues, you'll lead outdoor activities, build strong, trusting relationships, and create opportunities for personal growth and emotional resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent care and emotional support to children and young people aged 8-18
Lead and participate in outdoor activities including hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, and bushcraft
Support daily routines and promote positive behaviour and independence
Work collaboratively with therapists, teachers, and support staff as part of a multidisciplinary team
Help young people develop confidence, communication, and life skills

A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
Interest in outdoor education or adventure-based learning
Emotional resilience, patience, and a calm, supportive presence
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings
Must be 21 or over, hold a full UK Driving Licence, and have the right to work in the UK
