Youth Team Leader



21 hours per week
Salary: 15,789.86

The role will include:



Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and families and vulnerable adults. Undertaking My Stars assessments with children and young people to provide targeted support with a range of specific vulnerabilities. Managing the staff timetable with the housing manager so that staffing remains within budget and meets the contractual requirements of a universal and targeted youth provision. Undertaking supervision with youth workers and to lead regular team meetings. Delivering youth sessions including some evening and weekend sessions to lead a high standard of service. Working in partnership within Goodwin and the wider Early Help offer and across partner agencies. Attending and contribute to partnership meetings and events.

To be successful in this role you will:



Have significant experience of working with children and young people who are hard to reach or at risk of social exclusion. Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children, young people and families. Working knowledge of IT systems and databases. Ability to write reports and presentations and to maintain files both hard copy and electronically. Have significant experience of working with a range of agencies and services.
