NWSLC are recruiting an enthusiastic Youth Worker to work with students at the point of enrolment and for the duration of their time at college. The successful candidate will work closely with key curriculum areas to equip a case load of students with personal and professional attitudes and behaviours to allow them to successfully achieve their full potential and be ready for their progression
What skills are we looking for:
Hold a Youth Community qualification at L2 or similar or willing to achieve
Recent experience working in an educational establishment
An ability to relate effectively to people of all ages and backgrounds and have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities for the role:
To ensure there is a positive and friendly community spirit amongst the students by helping to create a safe, welcoming and healthy environment.
To develop and deliver a range of activities and services suitable for all students.
Drive forward the continuous development of qualitative student experience provision including student engagement and inclusion.
