32,916-45,351 per annum (dependent on experience/qualifications)

About the role



Are you a nurturing, creative Year 1 teacher looking for your next opportunity in September? Heart of Supply is working closely with a number of warm and welcoming schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas to recruit passionate KS1 teachers with a specialism in early learning.

This is a wonderful chance to support pupils as they take their first big steps into primary education. Whether you're looking for flexible supply work, a short-term post or a longer-term role, we'll match you with a school that aligns with your teaching style, strengths and priorities.

Year 1 is such an important transitional year and we're looking for teachers who can balance structure with creativity, nurture with clear expectations and bring learning to life with a sense of curiosity and care.

What you will need:



QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Recent experience teaching in KS1 (minimum 6 weeks in a UK primary school) A sound understanding of the Year 1 curriculum, including early phonics and continuous provision A nurturing approach paired with high expectations for behaviour and learning Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible mindset A genuine passion for early education and creating a safe, joyful classroom
