We are looking for staff who can work at height, amazing customer service and is free across weekends, bank holidays, half terms and all school holidays. It is vital you are a confident speaker, can manage large groups and are diligent with your actions for health and safety checks for all customers. This is a wonderfully fun role, based on the beachfront but this comes with great responsibility. We are looking for people who are encouraging and reassuring to be able to make the experience great fun and less scary for our customers!

We work through almost all weathers and all training is provided for. No prior experience needed!

ROLE - ZIPWIRE ACTIVITY INSTRUCTOR

As the The Brighton Zipwire activity staff you will:

Be responsible for the kitting up of customers Being accountable for the set up procedure of the Zipwire and equipment checks to help operations run smoothly Ensuring all customer safety as a priority on every ride and through every stage of the Zip set up, kitting up through to sending off the customer down the line and de kitting the customer at the other end Ensuring all customers have a great time with a positive and energetic attitude Be prepared to nurture and encourage each customer in a professional manner, being empathic with scared or nervous individuals Maintain high standards of protocol and cleanliness of the site Respect rota decisions Deliver exceptional customer service Must be available across weekends, bank holidays, half terms and all school holidays.
ATTRIBUTES - ZIPWIRE ACTIVITY STAFF

Must not be scared of heights Experience in the outdoor sector is favourable, but not required Excellent people and communication skills Must be physically fit in order to handle using heavy equipment, carrying that equipment and having a lot of demanding running of operations. Our zipwire is based at a 30m high tall tower, therefore steps are part of this physical fitness. Must be confident with public speaking A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail The ability to motivate and enthuse people to get the most fun out of their experience Have a great understanding of our equipment and procedures once trained A positive and outgoing personality and outlook regardless of environment

We are looking to increase our staff team for the Easter Holidays and then moving into the Summer Period!

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 9.50-11.50 per year

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
