Temporary - SEND KS1 - Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

The Governors of Our Lady, Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School would like to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and experienced Teaching Assistant to become part of our successful and hard-working team. The role will provide support for a Reception pupil, the role is temporary due to it being funded through finance awarded for the child.
The applicant must be an outstanding practitioner who is:
- Appropriately qualified and have relevant skills and experience in working with children with complex needs and learning difficulties.
- Adaptable and able to work on their own initiative
- Committed to working in partnership with colleagues, other professionals and families
- Have the ability to promote, enhance and actively support our Catholic Ethos.
- A supportive and enthusiastic team of dedicated professionals

- Well behaved and happy children
- Opportunities for CPD appropriate to staff needs
Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau.
