Salary: WPT Band 3 24404 - 25183 (18589 - 19183 pro-rata)

Hours: 34 per week, term time including 5 additional days

Location: Woodland View - based at Monkwood Primary School

Your role will be diverse and engaging, encompassing a range of responsibilities designed to ignite curiosity and foster academic growth.

Responsibilities Include:

Creating and maintaining a dynamic learning environment aligned with lesson plans, ensuring resources are readily available and the space is conducive to effective learning, whilst adhering to health and safety regulations. Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities, using proven strategies to support pupils in achieving their learning goals. Providing structured support to individuals and small groups, ensuring every student comprehends the material and stays on track with their learning journey. Monitoring student progress and accurately reporting achievements and challenges, offering detailed feedback to facilitate targeted support and intervention where necessary. Promoting positive behaviour and swiftly addressing any incidents, empowering students to take ownership of their conduct and contribute to a harmonious learning environment. Maintaining meticulous records to ensure accurate documentation of student progress and other administrative tasks to support classroom operations. Administering and marking routine tests in accordance with school policies, assisting in the assessment process to gauge student understanding and development. Assisting in pastoral care and implementing individual education plans (EHCPs), ensuring every student receives the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally. Supporting the class teacher with clerical duties, from photocopying to creating engaging pupil displays, contributing to the smooth running of the classroom. Chaperoning children to and from the centre within the transport team.
