Due to the occupational needs of our client, we specifically require Males only for the role, wanting a mixture of waking nights and day shifts. A full UK driving licence to attend the location on a regular is preferred.

The role:



To assist a vulnerable male on a regular basis, supporting with independent living, to fulfil his goals and helping to shape a positive outcome in his life. Ensuring you build a good working and trusted relationship with the client is essential to help him establish a positive future and outlook on his life circumstances.

What you'll be doing:



Providing regular and ongoing 1:1 support at a high standard that creates a trusted and supported environment. Providing support within the client's home and ensuring all areas are clean and tidy. Respecting the parameters around community integration. Ensuring you adhere to a person- centred approach with your interactions. Attending appointments and managing calls with advocates and other health professionals. Ongoing finance management and control for the client. Excellent communication skills to ensure tasks are completed and explained in a way the client understands. Preparation of healthy meals and snacks. Personal care is not required for this role, however if you may be asked to work at other services where this will be obligatory.

As a precondition of this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. Please note we are unable to provide sponsorship, therefore if this is something you require, we will be unable to proceed with your application.

What you'll bring:



A conscientious attitude to all areas of the role. Ability to establish and manage client boundaries. Experience working with vulnerable Adults with Mental health and learning disabilities, particularly Autism. Ability to understand the needs of the client and work through any contentious issues in a calm manner. A caring attitude and a willingness to make a difference. The ability to provide person-centred care whilst maintaining respect and protecting client dignity. Excellent communication skills Ideally a full UK driving license.

Pay: 12.40-12.70 per hour
