1:1 Personal Support Assistant (part Time)

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and flexible Personal Support Assistant to provide one-to-one care and support to an individual. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, reliable, and comfortable adapting to the needs of one service user.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personalised support and physical assistance on a 1:1 basis
Assist with personal care following the service user's preferences, ensuring dignity and respect
Support with maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic home environment
Assist with meal preparation and food shopping when required
Assist with the administration of prescribed medication as directed
Support the individual to access the community for social and personal activities when requested
Promote and maintain the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of the individual at all times
Requirements
Previous experience in care, support, or healthcare roles is preferred
A kind, patient, and understanding approach
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work flexibly across both day and night shifts
Dependable and responsible attitude
Additional Information:
This role involves supporting one individual, and duties may vary depending on their needs.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
