1:1 Reception SEND Teaching Assistant

to support a high-needs pupil starting Reception this September in a nurturing North London primary school.

This is a full-time, term-time contract starting in September 2025. The child has just received an EHCP and has been offered a place at the school, making this a pivotal moment to join the team and provide consistent one-to-one support from day one.

What We Are Looking For

We need a patient, energetic

1:1 Reception SEND Teaching Assistant

who can hit the ground running in September. Ideal candidates will have:

Proven experience with pupils who have EHCPs or similar high-needs profiles Understanding of early childhood development and sensory processing Experience using speech and language resources (e.g., PECs, visuals, Now & Next) A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) A positive mindset and plenty of flexibility - no two days will look the same
