SEN 1:1 Support

Hours:

32.5 hours per week (working 9am-4pm Monday-Friday)

Salary:

21,310.90 - 21,986.90 (+ Qualification Bonus for Level 3 Candidates, please see below or details)

have the opportunity for someone to join their team on a permanent part time basis.


Weare seeking a SEN 1:1 to join the team to support children with SEN needs within the setting. Within this role you will support and promote their individual development with lots of sensory play and regulating activities whilst encouraging and supporting daily routine & safety, working closely with the nursery SENCo, childrens families and any other outside agencies to promote the best outcomes for the child.

Main responsibilities include:

Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the day, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures

Requirements and skills:

Full and relevant Level 2 / Level 3 childcare qualification - essential SEN Experience - essential Fluent in written and spoken English - essential Experience working with SEN children - essential Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years - desirable Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
