1:1 Tutor required.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personalised teaching to students of various school ages, helping them achieve their academic goals on a 1:1 basis.

This role requires a strong understanding of curriculum development and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners. The Tutor will work closely with students, parents, and educators to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualised lesson plans tailored to a student's learning style and needs. Utilise learning technology and various educational resources to enhance tutoring sessions. Provide one-on-one tutoring in subjects such as maths, science, reading, and writing. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure comprehension and retention of material. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding academic performance and areas for improvement. Maintain classroom management techniques that support a productive learning environment.
Experience

Experience desired but not essential in tutoring/ teaching or as a teaching assistant. Familiarity with curriculum development processes and lesson planning strategies. Knowledge of special education practices or experience with diverse learning needs is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively convey information to students and collaborate with parents and educators. Background in education desired but not essential. Pay: 20.00-30.00 per hour
