Brief job description:

Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Apprentice with Artemis, an MSP Company based in Cuffley.

:

We are looking to recruit a 1st Line Support Engineer Apprentice to join our small busy team in Cuffley. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing telephone and remote 1st line support in both IT and Telecoms, and eventually to provide site-based/remote support of both hardware and software of multiple clients. Learning will be on the job.

The ideal candidate will hold a full UK Driver\'s License (or be committed to passing within a year) and should have some knowledge of installation and support for Windows 10 and 11. Additionally, the individual should consider themselves to be presentable, energetic & motivated, and trustworthy.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

• Provide telephone and remote 1st line support.
• Monitoring and Maintenance of customers IT systems.
• To progress to provide site-based installation of hardware and software.
• Maintenance of existing systems.
• Troubleshooting issues with performance.

Qualifications:

• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
• To hold a full UK driver\'s license or commit to passing test within the year.

Skills Required:

• To have knowledge of installation and support for Windows 10 and 11.
• Eager to learn.
• Energetic.
• Presentable.
• To have knowledge of Windows server environment.
• Microsoft 365.
• Networking in general.
• Have the physical fitness to complete the role as demanded by the duties above.
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with team members and the clients in small operating environments.
• A good telephone manner and a cheerful disposition.

• Reliable and trustworthy.

Future prospects:

The role offers a permanent role upon completion of the apprenticeship depending on performance.

Training to be provided:

Estio apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we\'ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:

• Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure - physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
• Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
• Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance
• Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
• Support the information systems needs for your business.
