MCS Group is delighted to be seeking an experienced 2nd Line Engineer for an opportunity to fast track your career, gain exposure to a fantastic array of clients, all in an environment where you will be exposed to cutting edge technologies under the guidance of some serious IT engineers. You need to be an experienced 2nd line engineer, and hungry to join a team that will deliver on all the above.

The role will require you to

Be a seasoned pro working with virtualised environments - VMware and any cloud technologies eg. AWS, Azure, GCP
A proven ability tackle those trickier issues as the senior point of escalation at a 2nd line level
A sound working knowledge of networking principles, including but not limited to

• Switches
• Firewalls
• Routers
• Windows servers and visualisation - VMWare & Hyper V environments
• Installation and support of \'vanilla\' server builds
• Veeam backups

Experience with, Active directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group policy

Demonstrable evidence of supporting WinOS and O365
