Job Role/ Essentials

The IT/ EPOS Support Technician role is varied and will include on the job training. Duties include:

Support external clients with their day-to-day IT & EPOS related issues remotely

Take telephone calls to help clients through setup or resolve issues

Log support calls via ticket system

Workstation support and trouble shooting.

Setting up new users and dealing with passwords resets etc

Resolve any file permission issues/security concerns

Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating System Support

Basic Network and Internet Support including Associated Hardware

Microsoft Office Suites (Office 365 Desirable)

Backup Technologies/Basic Firewalling and Routing

Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam Software and Services

Typical IT Hardware Maintenance and Support

Good written English and Grammar skills are essential

Good telephone manner is essential

Full clean UK DL

Installation/ Set up of EPOS systems

Assisting / Programming new menus / price changes with EPOS customers

Tools and communication equipment will be provided

The following would be highly desirable and strengthen your application:
- MCDST - Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician
- Other Relevant Industry Certification
