Job Description
We are looking for a 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join a growing team in Birmingham. This role requires someone with an interest for technology and a problem-solving mindset to deliver excellent support to customers.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- Manage and respond to support tickets in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and applications.
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
- Document support processes and solutions accurately.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve IT support services.
A successful 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer should have:
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience in providing technical support within the Technology & Telecoms industry.
- Familiarity with common IT software and hardware solutions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive attitude and problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary ranging from 25,000 to 30,000 per annum (Dependent on experience).
