Job Overview

We are seeking reliable and efficient Delivery Persons to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, making it essential for candidates to be physically fit and capable of managing the demands of the job.

This position can either be applied for as an individual or bring your own partner

Duties

Operate a 3.5T van for the delivery of goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring that all products are handled safely. installing appliances such as washing machines, dish washers, fridges etc Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes. offer 5 customer service to all our customers
Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs as necessary. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is advantageous. Experience in a warehouse environment will be beneficial for understanding logistics operations. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and customers. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, demonstrating physical fitness for the role.
