We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and navigate various delivery routes.

Duties

Safely operate a van or other delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring that all deliveries are handled with care. installation of white goods e.g washing machines, dish washers, fridge freezers etc Unpacking and removing packages or appliances and also removing customers old appliances. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transport. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driving licence with no more than 6 points Drivers mates must be 18 yrs or older Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries. Strong communication skills, to interact with customers and team members effectively. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
