Overview:

We at Nucare Pharmacy Norton Canes Cannock Ws11 9sy are offering a MPharm graduate a foundation training placement programme

During your training you will play a vital role in patient care by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your expertise in medication administration and your in-depth knowledge of anatomy will be essential in providing optimal pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Duties:
- Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide medication counseling to patients, including information on dosage, side effects, and potential drug interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients
- Monitor patient response to medication therapy and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards of practice
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Skills:
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care
- Extensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in medication administration techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, such as an ICU or critical care setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
