Room Manager

to join our growing team at

Little Delwood Nursery

in Eastleigh. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional to lead our toddler room, creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Little Delwood is a warm and welcoming setting that prides itself on providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. Our child-centred approach supports every child's unique development journey, with a strong emphasis on inclusion, creativity, and outdoor learning.

Role Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day running of the 2-3's Room, ensuring high standards of care and education. Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's learning and development in line with the EYFS. Build strong partnerships with parents, keeping them informed and involved in their child's progress. Support children with additional needs, working closely with the SENCO and external professionals. Oversee key person responsibilities, ensuring children's individual needs are met. Carry out observations, assessments, and maintain accurate records. Mentor and support a small team of practitioners, helping them to grow and develop in their roles. Promote a positive, inclusive environment where all children feel safe and valued.
What We're Looking For

Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above). Experience working in a nursery setting, with at least 1 year in a senior or leadership role. Knowledge of the EYFS and child development milestones.

SEND training or experience supporting children with additional needs is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and organisational skills. Passionate about providing high-quality early years education. A warm, nurturing approach with the ability to inspire both children and colleagues.
