Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team as 2nd Chef. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, along with excellent leadership and team management skills. As 2nd Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained.

Duties

Assist & support the Head Chef in his duties Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative environment. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Manage food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of meals during service hours. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, complying with health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock. Implement food safety protocols to guarantee the highest hygiene standards are upheld. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Experience

1 years 2nd Chef experience or 2 years CDP experience, proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential. Demonstrated culinary experience with a strong focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable, showcasing effective team management skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations is required. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests is crucial.
