Job Summary

We are seeking a flexible 3.5 t Van driver to join our team delivering and assembling furniture and beds for a major high st retailer

Duties

Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards. Operate & Drive vehicle in a safe manor Coduct daily vehicle walk round inspections to ensure safe and legal for road. Conduct quality checks on assembled items to ensure compliance with company standards. Take care in customers premesis ensuring zero damage occurs. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth working environment. Assist in warehouse operations, including loading and unloading of vehicle. Drive delivery vehicles as needed, ensuring timely transport of products to designated locations. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Some mechanical knowledge is desirable for this role. Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. Valid driving licence; experience as a van driver or delivery driver is Essential. Familiarity with commercial driving practices, particularly Luton van and tail lift operations. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently when required. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail are highly valued.
