The UK's premier Access Platform specialists Blade Access is looking for 3.5T driver/operators to be based from home in the Glasgow, Edinburgh or borders. As a Blade Access platform operator you will be the face of the largest independent truck mounted access hire company in the UK, providing our clients with safe access to work at heights. Based from your home address with one of our specialist 3.5t Platforms you will cover jobs in your immediate and surrounding areas but could be called upon to assist our clients nationwide.

Responsibilities

Arrive on site at given time To Provide customers with means to work safely at height Operate the platform in a safe professional manner Provide excellent customer service to client personnel on site Be up to date with all current health and safety policies, procedures, guidelines and laws Assist with our nationwide coverage of the UK and Northern Ireland To have in depth knowledge of machine capabilities and operation. Provide HQ with up to date site information by use of tablet

To be a successful Blade Access Platform Operator you will possess skills such as;

Adaptable Flexible Ability to work at heights Excellent customer service skills Great communication 1st Class driving abilities Keen interest in Plant operation Positive Mindset Ability to work on own initiative Brilliant time management
The position is required to work at heights between 16m - 103m. Our 3.5T Driver would be working at heights of up to 25m

Must have a full clean driving licence and be over 18.

IPAF 1b is not essential but advantageous. Experience with Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP's) is also not essential but advantageous.

CSCS card not essential but advantageous

Full training is provided

Travel is a large part of the role

Plenty of overtime as per clients needs

Weekend Rota- Weekend on Weekend Off

Flexibility to Work away where required

As a forward thinking company we would look to upskill our front line staff with good working records with licences such as HGV class 2.
