We're on the lookout for a 3.5T pick-up driver to become a vital part of our successful Manchester team. If you enjoy a role that offers variety, teamwork, and the chance to be part of a thriving company, this could be the perfect fit for you!


As a customer-facing driver, you will be responsible for delivering civils and drainage products to our customers in Manchester and the surrounding areas. Your duties will include:

Efficient & Safe Operation:

Ensure the vehicle is operated efficiently and safely and within the law.

Compliance:

Adhere to all vehicle and driver legislation.

Timely Deliveries:

Complete and deliver orders to JDP customers on time.

Customer Service:

Represent JDP at the point of delivery, providing excellent customer service and upholding JDP's strong reputation.

Teamwork:

You will be expected to help out in the branch when required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A full UK driving licence:

Category B

Health & Safety Knowledge:

Understanding of workplace safety.

Route Planning:

Ability to determine the most efficient delivery routes.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Forklift Truck Experience:

Advantageous but not essential.
