Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on professionalism and efficiency. Experience with flatbed loading, commercial driving, and delivery operations is highly desirable. Applicants must be over the age of 30 for insurance purposes with a clean driving licence.

Duties

Operate flatbed truck to deliver goods across designated routes Load and unload items safely, ensuring proper securing of cargo during transit Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines Conduct vehicle inspections prior to each shift, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues Uphold safety standards at all times, including adherence to road regulations and company policies Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with deliveries and addressing any concerns professionally

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is essential. Familiarity with flatbed lorry operation and load securing. Valid driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles (category C or equivalent) is essential Strong organisational skills, punctuality, and a professional attitude are required for success in this role
