Job Description

We are seeking a

reliable and experienced 3.5t PAW Van Driver

to join our team based at Manchester Airport. This is a

paid-as-work (PAW)

role operating Monday to Friday, offering consistent work within a secure aviation environment.

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 3.5t van to transport goods and materials to designated locations. Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in line with company procedures. Follow scheduled routes and delivery instructions. Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after each journey. Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate courteously and professionally with customers and colleagues. Comply with all traffic laws, site rules, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Full

UK Manual Driving Licence

(no more than 6 points). Ability to provide

5 years' address history

and

5 years' reference history

(employment, education, or character).

DBS / CRC Check

(criminal record check) required. Must be able to complete an

Airside application

to obtain a full airside ID. Must complete a

driver assessment

before starting work.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:

Previous

FLT (Forklift Truck)

experience.

Airside pass suitability

preferred. Prior experience in delivery driving, logistics, or warehouse operations. Strong understanding of vehicle safety and basic mechanical awareness.
