We are looking to expand our Technical Driver/Gas Sales team

We have vacancies at all of our depost being Petersfield, Shoreham & Ringood.

We are looking to recruit a 3.5 ton gas cylinder delivery driver. The correct candidate must be a hardworking, organised, reliable, friendly and helpful person. You will be required to deliver to both domestic and commercial customers across the south coast areas.

Gas delivery driver duties

To deliver and handle gas cylinders safely on vehicles, in our yard and at customers premises Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork, to be able to write manual invoices when necessary Unloading and loading of vehicles Some yard duties when required (sorting stock, loading cylinders onto vehicles etc) To maintain our high standard of customer service at all times

Required skills and experiences

A full UK driving licence A valid ADR Licence(preferably Class 2 Gases) is an advantage but not essential Due to the nature of the work the candidate must be physically fit and capable of manual handling duties Able to complete tasks using own initiative, seeking guidance/input from others where appropriate Good literacy & numeracy skills
Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota

Salary dependent on licences held & experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From 25,400.00 per year depending on licences held & experience

Experience: Driving: 2 years (preferred)

You will assist the Site Manager in the Depot operation, dealing with customers, answering phones, keeping the yard clean & tidy, but the role will predominantly be multi drop cylinder deliveries.
