Overview

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge and experience operating excavators in various settings. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe completion of excavation tasks on construction sites And on farms (capital grant works)

Responsibilities

Operate excavators and other heavy machinery with precision and care. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate excavation activities. Follow site plans and specifications to execute excavation tasks accurately. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as required. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.

Experience

Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery. Valid commercial driving licence is preferred, allowing for the operation of lorries when necessary. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
