Duties

Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks. Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Follow project plans and specifications to execute excavation work accurately. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate activities and ensure project timelines are met. Maintain the excavator by performing routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs as necessary. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site. Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transporting equipment when necessary. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing site environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A commitment to maintaining high safety standards at all times.
