Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. Responsibilities

Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for the delivery of goods to designated locations. Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to road safety regulations. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Communicate with warehouse staff regarding loading and unloading procedures. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as required. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with a background in commercial driving. Strong driving skills with a valid 7.5 tonne driving licence. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: 14.50-15.96 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
